Established in 2009, the HERCULES Laboratory is a research infrastructure from University of Évora, devoted to the study and valorisation of cultural heritage, focusing on the integration of physical and material sciences methodologies and tools in interdisciplinary approaches.

A three-day international workshop addressing the preservation, access and use of cultural heritage material samples archives, will be held at Évora, Portugal, from 13 June to 15 June 2022. The workshop will be organized by ICCROM, University of Évora and other partners.
